Shobhana Joshi is an Independent Director of Rossell Techsys. With her extensive knowledge and commitment to advancing the indigenous defence sector, Shobhana Joshi brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the company. 

With a distinguished career spanning 37 years in government, including her tenure as Secretary (Defence Finance), Shobhana has deep insights into financial matters within the defence sector. A graduate of the esteemed National Defence College, Delhi, she holds an M.Phil. in Strategic and Defence Studies and has further honed her skills through an Executive Education Program at the Kennedy School, Harvard University, USA. 

Throughout her career, Shobhana has served at various levels in the Ministry of Defence, from Director to Secretary, overseeing critical aspects such as the defence budget formulation and financial scrutiny of procurement proposals. Her involvement in policy formulation and executive decision-making processes underscores her strategic acumen. Shobhana’s contributions extend beyond government service; she is a founding member and co-chairperson of SAMDeS (Society for Aerospace Maritime and Defence Studies), a prominent non-profit think tank dedicated to fostering independent research and analysis in the national aerospace, defence, and maritime sectors.
